FIRST164YP
We realise we know only a little
Our meetings
First164YP which is part of Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together daily to solve their drinking problem. Participation is free and is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.
Our primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
You can just sit and listen and learn more about recovery, or you can share about your situation. It’s completely up to you.
How To Join Our Skype Meetings
The meetings are conducted using Skype that is available at www.skype.com. To attend a meeting be on Skype at least 10 minutes before the start time.
Option One: Send a Skype ‘join’ message that you want to be called in, and you will be called in by the meeting’s host. Wait to be called after you have sent a request to join the meeting.
Option Two: Hit the Audio Call icon and you will be brought into the meeting.
For Skype, use of headset with a microphone and a ‘mute’ switch is preferred, but not required. However, during the meeting you need to mute your mike through the Skype microphone symbol when you are not speaking. To strengthen your connection, turn off all other internet applications on whatever computer device you are using.
